Maldives not sinking

A gradual rise in average sea level is threatening to completely cover this Indian Ocean nation of 1196 small islands in the next 30 years, according to authorities.

The hyperbole surrounding sinking island nations continues to this day. And we have another 30-year prediction this time starting in 2019… Not just for the Maldives, but for many island nations, even!
