Yesterday, a new record of 45.9C was set in France, ‘shattering’ the old record of 44.1C, set in 2003. This of course, is another instance where it isn’t important to actually look at temperature records to decide when a new record is set.
In reality, temperatures far higher than this have been recorded in France, such as the 122F (i.e. 50C) recorded in 1930.
But it is important that climate alarmists never let facts get in the way of a good story!
